Official resale marketplace — organizer setup

Why official resale?

Unofficial resale (screenshots, social DMs) causes fraud and duplicate scans. ticketingbook resale:

• Reissues a new QR to the buyer
• Voids the seller's original ticket automatically
• Pays the seller via Stripe after the event rules you set

Enable

1. Settings → Allow ticket transfers (optional but recommended)
2. Settings → Enable official resale marketplace
3. Set Max resale markup % (e.g. 20 = face value + 20%)
4. Per ticket type: edit type → allow/disallow resale and optional min/max list price

Fan flow

1. Seller opens wallet → List for resale → sets price within your cap
2. Buyer browses /resale/{event-slug} or follows listing link
3. Buyer pays through Stripe — new ticket appears in wallet

Disable anytime

Turn off Enable official resale marketplace — active listings should be cancelled before the event.
